BEM is a multi-purpose engine for energy efficiency. We calculate thermal loads, system responses, and total energy use — along with comfort, demand, and cost metrics — on an hourly (or sub-hourly) basis for a full year. Interactions such as lighting heat gains impacting cooling loads are modeled natively to reflect real-world performance.
